Cal 12, UCSB 10Cal did lose 2 fantastic senior attackmen form last year, but Nourse has been recruiting like crazy. There is a ton of talent on the Cal squad, including 3 goalies who all would be starting for most WCLL teams.Watch for Cal freshman and '09 HS AA Jon Chee to rip the damn duck. This kid can ball, and you ALL will be hearing about him very soon. Best faceoff guy I've. ever. seen.

Thanks for the find.UCSB did lose some talented senior defenders but Cal lost two seniorattackmen to graduation as well.Looking forward to the outcome.Interesting to hear about the Chaptown UCSB scrimmage. I hold little stockin games that don't count.Example 1, BYU beat Air Force in a scrimmage, didn't win an MCLA title thatyear.Example 2, Pitt kept it close with NCAA D2 Seton Hill, lost to MCLA D2 GroveCity the next week.

CU's cause they're simple yet perfect size font, and I'm loving the logo on the back. Also like the white on black. Can't wait to see there away jerseys. And, FWIW: I know a couple guys that play for ucsb and according to them they really tried to play lots of frosh and didn't really go into the scrimmage with a gameplan. It'll be interesting (since they are VERY young) how they fair against Cal and Stanford.

How is Cal shaping up this year? If they are looking strong then I'll take Cal over SB. I saw SB at the LXM Pro thingy and Chapman dismantled them. They are a young team now that is rebuilding, so it may be an uphill battle for SB. Haven't heard much about Cal so not sure how they will play.
