First heckle of the year

dude not trying to sound like a dick, but you guys havent had a good team in years and the odds of cracking the tournament this year are nearly non-existent. The CJ tourney is great for exposure and travel, but youll most likely be losing 3 or 2 games. Outside of that pick the trip that will be more fun, and dont worry about saving for Denver (your not going this year). A trip to Boston in spring would be great, much more fun than getting trounced by Michigan.

  • For those of you looking for hotel deals consider Choice Sports Travel, it is the Choice Hotel company’s team travel division. We requested several quotes today that should be very competitive. Leak those as they arrive.
  • We have talked to two bus companies Metropolitan Shuttle and Anderson. The Anderson charter bus appears to be a sexier bus however they want $6500 for a trip to Boston and Metropolitan wants $3500. Sounds like an easy decision.

    Heard the scoop from one of my NorCal Friends of a coach from middle America yelling and chasing down a ref after his first round loss. There is also a huge thing going on with the MCLA and Refs; hope the refs don't strike!!! Love your new site. >>West Coast

    it wasnt meant as a heckle, sorry if it came off that way. I was just urging you to be realistic about your expectations, i understand teams can make leaps and bounds but in general you dont go from losing to the Rhode Islands, Cent Mich, Suny Buffaloes, and D2 Grove Cities of the world and go to the tourney the next year, its a process. Playing for a coach last season who was a member of the MCLA National Tourney selection committee, and hearing him talk about the teams in consideration, i can tell you it is very tough to crack the top 16. While they take scheduling very seriously, going to Michigan to get your ass handed to you does not help your case as much as say going to BC and playing them solid.
