So we reported that said slander was up as pre game trash talk and they removed it following their “game three meltdown.”

Chaptown issues a rebuttal claiming they put it up after the loss.

Which is a more regrettable form of behavior?

1) ChaptownLax posting anti-Michigan rhetoric as seen here in the first place.

2) ChaptownLax suggesting that posting the anti-Michigan slander after the game was not only acceptable but it showed they were taking accountability for the loss.

3) Lebron during last season’s postseason

4) Mr. McEnroe

5) I’m thirsty.

At the end of the day, taking to your website to blast a school that was established in a state that features crummy weather and an even worse economy is in poor taste.

Regardless, of whether you posted it before the game or after the game.

Regardless, of whether Chaptownlax is the student run website or the official school website.

Chapman is one of the most recognizable programs in the MCLA. What are people outside of the league supposed to think when one of the premiere team’s is openly hazing another premiere team?

If you didn’t want us to misinterpret the meaning or the time of posting, you should have never changed your homepage and you should have never issued a second and third message about the issue.

Public service announcement to every player in the MCLA:

We already had one major disaster in the MCLA with the mid season firing of Coach Stevenson which has made a lot of people nervous about taking MCLA jobs. Chapman’s public lambasting of the current state of Michigan doesn’t help.

Let’s try to make better decision.

    The ducks bus it down to cali in 1 day, play 3 games in 3 days, at the #2 team on the final day, and go into the second half with a lead. Nick Johnson’s incredible effort and performance in that game and the entire season need no tainting by a CBC superfan.

    BHSVD is the man flat out.

    I was just pointing at the scoreboard, guy. Couldn’t care less for either team honestly. Not a Connor Martin superfan by any means, the guy just deserves credit for what he does on and off the field. The other video by bhsVD paints a different picture of the game. So, take it easy ya fanatic. But, I am curious what the back of Nick Johnson’s neck smells like. How would you describe it?

    Chapman’s inability to finish inside against Oregon…did it resurface against Michigan in the final?

    Unfortunately my dad hasn’t gotten around to making a highlight video yet, props to the kid for having the video, that’s well done. I just think the goalie is nothing special, I have seen lots of better keepers out there who have accomplished alot more and who deserve to be spotlighted. I’ll try and put a video together for you and I will be sure to not include “highlights” of shin saves or helmet saves because all that shows is poor shooting.

    Nope. We just felt that a 30 save performance against the 2nd best team in the MCLA and quality highlight video was worth some eyeballs. You disagree. Seeing that your name was “GodlyKeeper” we just feel like you might have a thing or two to show our audience. Shoot it at either Pete or myself when it’s ready.

    Thanks for the comment. I love watching Nick and thought others would. In almost all highlights, only goals are shown and the goalies end up looking terrible, so this is retribution for them.

    I look forward to this “video”. It is easy to blow your own horn with nothing to back it up. Reminds me of the high school kids who always post “My high school team could beat this or that MCLA team.” Yeah sure. Frankly a shin save is as good as any other, except for the pain.

    to godly keepers defense… alot of those saves were just poor stick side high shots, but he did have a lot of dirty one on one saves too. still a good video and anytime someone posts a 30 save game it should make noise.

    the only thing that seems to be a joke now is this website taking this seriously. Kids blowing off steam with nothing that was hurtful, or driven at players or the team. It was a copy and pasted forum post of someone going on a rant over the whole state. A childish “blowing off of steam” after losing yes, but that is about it. What is worse, this, or the classless Michigan players actually talking serous trash before, during and after the game to chapman players, and the chapman sideline (to the coaches as well). On the field, the cheap shots from Michigan came with the running of their mouths. Incredible to hear chapman players talk about a couple of the Michigan guys even talking trash during the game to Kyle Harrison, who was on the sideline. Where do they get off with that crap? It seems that as they have improved as a program they have also become more arrogant and classless. I ask again, which is worse, kids reposting a childish rant after losing to the team or a Championship team having zero class on the field, displaying malice towards the opposing players and coaching staff. When Michigan’s coach supposedly apologized after game to the Chapman coaches for his team’s behavior, there just might be a more serious problem a float than a reposted rant on why someone doesn’t like the state of Michigan.

    do you honestly believe that the Chapman players weren’t talking trash on the field as well? Talking to the coaches is unacceptable but talking between players in the game happens every game with almost every team. Playing against Chapman this year they do their fair share of trash talking. And regardless if it is just players blowing off steam it still shows that chapman has its own problems with being classless as well.

    This is the first time I’ve heard any complaints about JP or his players when it comes to class. I hate them when I play them, but they represent the MCLA the right way. Sounds like sour grapes or an overreaction.

    when my squad played Chapman this year I completely expected them to talk a ton of shit, but honestly they were one of the most respectful squads we faced all year.

    not an overreaction at all, nor an excuse for the dumb kid behavior of the chaptown posting. Us fans that were behind the chapman bench heard most of it, especially when #1 and #22 would come by the sideline and talk trash to the players and coaches. Think what you want about Michigan, but that was NOT representing the MCLA the right way when it came to this sort of stuff. Great team, yes, but that is about it.. Pretty sure if you watched the tivo of the broadcast you can see that late hit on Martin by michigan where the player reaches out his hand to help him out and then pulls it away and runs his mouth. that really got the chapman fans going. Of course players do a bit of chatting on the field, but when it is taunting the sideline and coaches through out the game, that is not acceptable (great thing those awesome refs were standing by the sideline when the worst of it was happening. I guess they were covering their ears so they wouldn’t need to throw a flag). Lost most of my respect for the michigan team after that game.

    I’d say there’s a difference between your second hand account of trash talking and the hard evidence of the chaptown website displaying that dumb rant. I’m not trying to discredit you, but you must remember that 412′s dealing in facts and you’re dealing in hearsay.I think what the Chapman Class of ’10 has done is great and like it or not they’re now leaders of the MCLA and how they conduct themselves is how people will perceive the league. So please don’t go pulling a Charles Barkley.

    412 is dealing in facts that a posting existed, but your opinions on it are just that. I was in the stands listening to the talk from Michigan players on the sideline. My experience (along with many other fans) presented along with my opinions. Not second hand or hearsay, first hand, just like if I was testifying in court. To discredit that is not really on point. This game was not USA vs Iceland in the Mighty Ducks II, but what myself and many others heard said by two particular Michigan players to the Chapman sideline REPEATEDLY, does not represent Michigan well.

If that’s what Michigan has become, fine, but it’s time for somebody (anybody) to rise up and knock them off their pedestal. Very disappointed that JP would let his team get to the point where they win with such little class.
