South Carolina Highlights

Twenty two minutes with the Gamecocks. Photos and video from the VT playoff game.

Brought to you by Cocks Lax Report blogger Scott MacPherson: APRIL 29, 2011, Lambert High School, Swuanee Georgia: SOUTH CAROLINA and VIRGINIA TECH square off in a 1st round of the SELC Lacrosse Championships. It was an overtime thriller and in my humble opinion the most exciting game in the 2011 SELC Championships. This movie is… photos, audio and video from the game!

This is going to be a very dangerous program in fact we put them rather high on our preseason top 10. Most readers were furious and disagreed.

California Box Fakes, Jared Leto, and Robert Morris

This youngster is bringing his talents to Moon Township, Pennsylvania just outside of Pittsburgh. The opening highlights will not disappoint.

Mt. Lebanon Star Shines at Blue Chip

Inside Lacrosse featured Dylan White in their Blue Chip coverage. He was named defensive man of the Friday afternoon session. “A tall, aggressive player, White posted a groundball and a caused turnover in the first contest of the day. Liked his size (definitely stood out among some of the smaller attackmen he was going against), positioning, and overall game.”

Great to see Pittsburgh products not only getting an opportunity, but taking advantage of those opportunities. Dylan’s brother, Chris, plays middie for Princeton. I confess I was a little intimidated by the stigma of Jake Reed’s Blue Chip and as such opted out of asking to work the camp. But the article states that lower tier D1 schools and top D3 programs were the only programs watching which makes sense. The top D1 teams have already filled their classes. The rising junior and sophomore Jake Reed sessions would be a waste of my time, but the rising senior session could be very beneficial with all the leftover seniors battling it out. Therefore, I’m going to make an effort to attend next year.
