Robert Morris Scrimmage Action

Robert Morris let loose with the first hidden ball trick against the vaunted Notre Dame defense in a scrimmage last weekend. It’s not the first time they’ve been on the field this spring.

Assistant coach Carlo Sunseri fired off this video to us last night. Enjoy over six minutes of RMU vs. Mercyhurst. Western PA lax city.

0:10 just dodging like a Canadian

0:21 contact city

0:33 ground ball hustle leads to a goal, weird

0:40 sneaky crafty, crafty sneaky inside roll

0:56 a play that the bench probably enjoyed a whole lot

1:32 so much ball movement

2:09 you gotta love that fast break, eat your heart out Quint

3:05 SO MUCH ball movement

At this point, we’re forced to ask ourselves the following questions: is Mercyhurst this bad? Is Robert Morris this good? Are there any positive Mercyhurst highlights coming?

Turns out the answer to the last question is no.

4:35 lonely feeling for the goalie

4:46 it’s almost too Canadian

5:51 oh Canada

Over six minutes of action and nothing from Mercyhurst. Did they not score?

It’s amazing how a few Canadians can rub off on your program. Not everyone on Bobby Mo’s roster is from Canadian but my heavens are their stick skills “oil spill” slick.

RMU looked good but mercyhurst had alot of sloppy sliding and positioning off ball, RMU’s schedule this year is favorable and last year most of their loses were with in 4 or so goals every game. Gonna be interesting to see if they can make a run at a NCAA birth

I was too distracted by the music.  I thought for a second I was watching the Go Pro Hero 2 commerical.
