Recovery Sunday

One more weekend in the books. It’s nearly NLL time, worst ever. Glove Contest Results. Twitter junk.
The winner of our mock up glove challenge was Mr.
He guessed Vengeance 2 and Shakedown 4

He will be receiving a pair of our team gloves.
Just wanted to call attention to the dots in the white section of the Shakedown. The Brine rep describes it as white perforated. “The perforated material refers to the metallic silver zone you may have seen on our stock shakedown or on the ones Duke wore in the FF. The white perf is very cool, in fact the only people who have been offered this are our top D1 sponsored teams and lacrosse unlimited, who did custom store stock.”
I’m blinded by the notion of wearing gloves that only Brine’s top teams are wearing. However, the material is only being offered in the Shakedown.
The Vengeance glove is an absolute work of art. Notice the Brine logo on the cuff is gold.
My roommate just entered the War Room. He confessed he made his selections based on the idea that one glove was a home glove and the other was an away unit. Apologies to anyone else who made this egregious error.
Minnesota Mock Ups

If you can figure out which one is our favorite, get off the internet.
Photos from Michigan’s Scrimmage

They lost 10-5 to Denison in the first scrimmage.
3-1 Michigan over Seton Hill at half.
I forget the Steelers Vikings game was on because I was following the scrimmage on Twitter.
Michigan’s twitter operator didn’t seem to care that Denison isn’t spelled Dennison.

“New adidas Michigan edition turf shoe. Not available retail yet.”
Do these look like table tennis shoes to you? There’s no way that traction technology is effective on longer turf.
Big fan of Denver’s new helmets

Notes on Quint
- Quint’s latest video on IL is about “debunking” myths. He debunks the myth that defenders can’t be small to be effective. He references John Lade and Parker McKee as successful undersized defenders. I wonder how 6′2 215lb McKee feels about that.
- Quint hopes “that Team USA lacrosse selections aren’t a political mess, but sensing a Duke Blue slant, which may lead to criticism.” With the exception of Zash, we have every Duke player available on our USA roster, because they deserve to be on the roster. The last USA lacrosse team was plagued with Syracuse politics. Thanks for leaving Ryan Boyle on the sideline for the Powells, Desko. Official roster comes out next weekend.
- Quint says, “A men’s Div I lacrosse program will cost a minimum of $1.5 million per year.” Really? Really?
General Notes
- The Lax All Stars Fireside Chat series returns this week with some MCLA heavy weights.
- Possible uniform and helmet mock ups to leak out, if the legal team clears the decision.
- Are you buying your Pitt lacrosse gear?
- Pitt football is ranked 16th in the country. Holy.
