The Post Season Gospel According to 412

We’ve been pulling away from the pack in the Crystal Ball Challenge for weeks.

Now, we’re going to play where the wild things are…

Who really wants to pick up a ground ball before lunch?

D2 teams that hope to win a national title on Saturday.

LAS Staff see the first round of the MCLA tournament looking something like this:

Texas State vs. Michigan

Michigan: staff

Illinois vs. Chapman

Chapman: staff

Cal Poly vs. ASU

Arizona State: Staff

Boston College vs. CSU

Colorado State: Staff

Michigan State vs. BYU

MSU: Striding Man, Wilson

BYU: Crave

Florida vs. Duluth

Duluth: Staff

SFU vs. FSU

SFU: Striding Man

FSU: Wilson, Crave

Colorado vs. Oregon

Colorado: Wilson

Oregon: Crave, Striding Man

Crave probably picked Oregon because he only feels comfortable picking chalk. He may or may not be an alum. Same with Striding Man. In good faith, we can’t pick a team that entered the post season with a losing record to win one game in said post season.

    If you’re trying to win it all, your love of Duluth betrays you.

    No way they get through the second round, unless by the grace of God they play Illinois. Team defense is not their strong suit, and I don’t think they don’t have the firepower to beat Chapman by 4 in a shootout.

    Your Duluth over Chapman call is rather bold. I personally took a chance on Simon Fraser over FSU in the first round, and cold weather should be a major boost.

    I also almost called the Briarcliffe over UVU in the DII bracket… DAMN.
