MLL Draft Blog Highlights
Twelve rounds and seventy two players later if my math is correct. Some of the top viewer comments.
MLL vs. LXM Talk
The argument persisted throughout the draft but this comment from Dale hit the hardest: Joe Walters and Kyle Harrison are complete sell-outs. Nothing wrong with trying to make a buck…but this tour thing is just lame.
I decided to ask if LXM players were being black balled (several were later drafted). The MLL communications human said, “412 Lax – MLL said all along those players would be welcomed back.”
Very kind of the MLL, I must say. It would be very easy to say good riddance to LXM athletes.
Top Dog
Now before you think Dale was 16 year old from Baltimore consider this comment he made when discussing Brodie Merrill: Brodie is the best player in the world…and maybe of all time. There are maybe 5 players you can even argue are as good or better in history: Gary Gait, Pietramala, Jim Brown, Casey Powell, Mike French
Perhaps Dale is a 38 year old from Baltimore. Interesting comment though.
Bovee chimed in with, “it’s hard to argue with Brodie as he has more Defensive player of the year trophies then siebald and Rabil have playoff wins….combined.”
Which eventually led to this from GO OUTLAWS, “You know the best way to shut down Rabil? Tell him he is playing in a playoff game….hahahahaha.”
Or at least tell him he’s being covered by a D3 pole.
Shortly there after Seibald was mentioned as the top player for 2011 to which I replied, under the screen name 412 Lax, “Seibald can’t shoot,” which is true.
Jaybirds replied, “Seibald’s definitely better than Tumbas, though.”
Great to see people recognizing who is responsible for the 412 juggernaut.
This also happened.
Enjoy your new lacrosse website Norcal Lax21, laxfreak, Bovee, and Knabber. Jaybirds, you are always welcome.
Took me two tries to get that message sent.
I see you Cover It Live.
Prince of the Draft Blog
With an affinity for capital letters and exclamation points unseen before by modern man, JoJo WAR DRUMMER stole the show. It was impossible to narrow down his top 10, but we tried anyway. Enjoy his work.

Legends and Leaders
Jeff Sonke and Chris Rotelli were drafted by Long Island.
If only they had a time machine. Rotelli did play for the Machine last year and could provide, if healthy, a scoring punch for the offensively challenged Lizards.
Berger, Peyser, Rotelli. Could be nice.
Ryan Cranston joins a stacked Denver midfield. Hardy, Delaney, and yes Seibald. Might be the best midfield unit in the league when you throw in Brian Langtry and their first round pick, Terry Kimener.
