Why does this game remind us of John Mayer?

I was immediately reminded of this YouTube clip featuring John Mayer calling a baseball game in Japan.

Announcing is tricky but I will never criticize someone who does it without ego. How about Minnesota high school playoffs being broadcast? What a fun world we live in.

After your done watching the Mayer clip four times, go back and pay attention to Benilde. They’ve built a special little program up in there in Minnesota. This year’s senior class is headed to Dartmouth, Quinnipiac, Lafayette, and Haverford. Minnesota in general is a state we’d like to have a greater presence in and hopefully that will begin this summer.

Oh Boston. This series is like Chicago Philadelphia. Hossa is to the Sedin twins as Philadelphia is to Boston. No thank you to either organization or fan base.
