MCLA Notes
Some thoughts on a wild weekend in the MCLA.
Chapman has blown second half leads to BYU and Colorado State falling in both. Good problem to have in February though. Is Colorado State your new number #1 in the country?
After Florida State lost to Clemson and Georgia Tech this weekend, Boston College’s win over the Noles is looking less impressive. What happened to FSU? Injuries? Just a bad trip? The Gators also went 0-2 this weekend with losses to Georgia and NC State.
Probably want to look at something like Colorado State, Cal Poly, Michigan State, Boston College, Texas in your top 5. MCLA coaches DON’T FORGET TO VOTE IN THE IL POLL. It’s a factor in tournament bids. Might be important to let your voice be heard.
Texas is beat ASU without Johnny McKnight, arguably one of the best middies in the country. McKinight isn’t on the roster. Did you know that Texas only has a 10 game schedule? Most LSA schools have already played 6+ games.
Indiana practice tonight at 10PM. Season opener Friday against Illinois State. The Hoosiers landed our 6th recruit today, attackman Nick Hylant from Western Reserve.

Penn State goes into Notre Dame and this happens:
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Senior Matthew Mackrides (Newtown Square) scored the game-winning goal with two seconds remaining in overtime to propel the No. 20 Penn State men’s lacrosse team to a 4-3 win over No. 2/4 Notre Dame at Arlotta Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Nittany Lions, who broke Notre Dame’s 15-game February win streak, improved to 2-1 (0-0 CAA) with the victory against their highest ranked opponent in program history.
Congratulations to Coach Tambo. Is is safe to say we can’t trust Notre Dame’s offense or do we still chalk it up as as #Februarylaxproblems?
UNC’s baby/sky/columbia/carolina blue and navy helmets are sharp.
More pictures here. Marcus Holman better be a first team AA attackman this season. Such an animal.
