Lent: Giving Up STX Talk

Can we give up picking on STX until Easter Sunday? We don’t think we can do it.  But we love a good challenge.

So we’re going to try it anyway.

Rules:

1. No anti STX discussion on the blog.

2. No anti STX discussion on Twitter.

3. No anti STX discussion on Facebook.

We might end up in STX equipment in before the year’s out.

The Revolution needs gloves.

And, that was the last of it. We are now on the clock.

    STX is not too bad. You have the Assaults and if you want you can count all of Nike’s lax gear. All I can say is that it is better then Maverik, Gait and Reebok. I personally like it better then Warrior but I am in the minority when it comes to that.

    the assaults are one of the sources of most of their problems on top of the gear not looking original, the assaults like the g22′s provided no protection and fell apart. reeboks got them beat on high end gloves, warrior brine are on the same level if not better gloves, arm pads yea stx wins but warrior definitely takes the cake on shoulders
    over all NO i dont think you guys can go 40 days without ragging on them anymore then i can

    Hopkins, Cornell, and UNC all wear Nike and STX. Even if the Assaults are crappy it is only the glove. The shoulder and arm protection are great. You also have the Vapor Elites and K18s. I can’t argue about Warrior and Brine but if you were to compare K18s or Vapor Elites to the 10Ks it is no contest, the K18s or Vapor Elites  would win every time. That is why Reebok doesn’t sponsor any big D1 schools and STX/Nike sponsor about half of them. Hopkins, Cornell and UNC don’t lie.

    Personally I love the K18 IIs and the Cell IIs and I think their heads (surgeon, stallion, super power) are some of the best out there.

    I agree i own a pair of white K18 IIs and i havent had one complaint. I have G22 arm guards coming but if i dont like them i will keep it to myself until after easter
