Italy?

We’ve know about lacrosse in Italy for quite some time. But after watching this video, we decided we DEFINITELY need to add an American Revolution trip to Italy ASAP.

Spearheaded by tourism agency Agenzia per la Promozione Turistica della Basilicata, the first ever Digital Diary project is bringing together a young band of elite visual storytellers to put together the first Digital Diary series, focused on moving beyond the traditional confines of tourism marketing. In “Dreaming in Italy” from Matthew Brown, absolutely jarring powerful cinematography blends with the sounds of a landscape that leaves the viewer questioning its reality. Rolling countrysides give way to old and new world architecture that creates cityscapes unlike any other location on Earth, stuffed full with engaging and interesting citizens without parallel. Just as you think there is no way that Basilicata, Italy can be a real place, you can’t help but feel a longing to experience the intensity of the world itself. (SwipeLife)

Another Italian lax post from February 2011and now for some more recent photos from Italy.

Can you spot the Denison representative? More photos here.

We DEFINITELY need to add Italy to the AR schedule in 2013. We promise it will be more exciting than Binghamton’s gloves. If Sicily had lacrosse the Revolution would have been there last year. Norway in 2013 is already a done deal.

Since former BYU head coach left Adams State for the Notre Dame director of operations job, who is going to be the head coach of the women’s team at ASC? The press release doesn’t mention their plans. Lamb was listed as director of operations at ASC but not head coach of the women’s team who hired a graduate assistant this fall. That assistant is the lone coach listed on the roster. Fast times at ASC.
