Iowa emerged victorious over St. Cloud State 9-8 thanks to two goals and one assist from freshman John Koenig and some wild uniforms.

Iowa is now 2-0 on the season and 2-0 in one goal games. They play Iowa State February 17th. Thanks to Peter Russell for the photos. Hopefully, he will be back on the sideline this Friday.

Roy Williams consoling Tyler Zeller reminds us that he’s Roy Williams. “Thursday night, when I called him late, I said ‘Are you thinking about getting the knives out and slashing your wrists?’ He said ‘Maybe.’ And I said if you’re going to do that, call me and I’ll come over and do it with you. … I told him my son would want to know first so he could change the will to make sure he got control of everything. He liked that statement, too.”

Skrillex won three awards, and used the word “crazy” in his acceptance speeches as much as other winners used the word “God.” Dubstep is apparently more important to the Grammys than several things, including a singer named Whitney Houston, who died Saturday night.
