Harvard Continues to Impress
Did you know Harvard is 6-2? Those wicked smart kids can ball. All this success sans Coach Tillman. Guess we’ll find out how much they really needed him in a few years when his recruits graduate. But let’s stay in the here and now. Watch this interview with Dean Gibbons regarding last night’s win over UMass.
Harvard has games remaining against Albany, Cornell, Quinnipiac, Penn, Princeton, and Yale. It’s been a strange season in the Ivy League. Harvard’s loss to Dartmouth among Princeton’s meltdown has certainly proved that notion. Could the Fighting Crimsons go dancing this year?
Sidenote, there are few negative things I enjoy more than a UMass loss. They are as follows:
1. Hopkins losing
2. Patriots being fined for cheating
3. Roy Williams being out coached
Lax.com has photos from the game, which makes sense because they are my favorite NCAA website. When I first saw Harvard’s helmets on Sweet Sweet Lax, I didn’t believe they were crimson. Now, I know they are in fact crimson not maroon.
What a beautiful shade.
In other D1 action, Duke topped Brown 12-7, Penn State faltered against Bucknell 8-6, and Lehigh bested a troubled Binghampton side 13-7.
Morning Banger
Another retro hit.
