Georgia in game uniforms? Maybe they’re getting new ones this spring. My grandfather was an All American in track at Georgia. I’d love to add the Bulldogs to the 2013 schedule.

We would have liked to see something different from the Tigers in terms of shorts. Looks like a like of newcomers out there. Perhaps they saved the returners for Georgia. Perhaps thats just the luck of the photo draw. Trying to land Clemson on the 2013 schedule as well. We need to begin on that next week to avoid some of the issues we’ve had this year.

The Piedmont College men’s lacrosse team made history this weekend at PC with their first-ever competition hosting a pair of scrimmages with college club teams for a day of action this past weekend in the non-traditional segment of their 2011-12 season.  Officially kicking off their campaign in early February of 2012, the Lions got their first taste of lax on the college level with club teams from the University of Georgia and Clemson coming over to play in the three-game affair on Sunday, a day that Piedmont Head Coach Pete Manderano hopes will give his team a foundation for the spring.

“I think the kids played really well, I liked their effort, overall it was a great day,” said Manderano of his team’s fall scrimmages. “The first game we were maybe a little nervous, but I did not think they were intimidated by anybody. It was a nice beginning. We’ve got a lot of work to do, but overall the coaches were pretty happy.” (Via Peidmont College Athletics)
