Find Us a Better Cover Song, We’ll Send You Custom Gloves

Another glove contest! Far more difficult than the first. Like a 1990s video game level boss. Hofstra has back up.
The OC’s Ryan Atwood hated music and loved bland girls.

For the guys on the 412 Lax staff, music pretty much is our 4th highest passion. If one of us could sing, we’d be more famous than Amy Winehouse by now.
We are thrilled when we hear a great song and 34 times out of 46 we share it on 412 Lax.
But, our lives change when someone covers a song we already love and makes it better, like BASF. We don’t make the jet ski, we make it funner. The second glove giveaway contest is based on that premise.
The original. Classic Chevy Chase dancing at 2:01.
The greatest cover of all time.
Post your cover song suggestions in the comments. The chances someone can top this are as good as Duke beating Hopkins in an important game.
WHY?!?!?!?

We have already given away one pair of custom Pitt gloves to Mr. San Diego Supercharger for successfully guessing which Brine mock ups we preferred.
Winner will be announced Monday. Assuming someone has the nerve to top the London Symphony Orchestra.
This song is already in second place. It’s also a hint as to what we prefer when it comes to a banging cover.
Good luck. You’re going to need it.
If this post gets 100+ comments from unique visitors by Monday we will do a third glove contest.
Guest comments won’t qualify. You have to register as a unique username.
So tell your mates.
One of these are up for grabs.

Notes
- Con Bro Chill is on the cover of the 2010 Elevation Lacrosse Catalog, check out the right side of the home page.
- More music courtesy of Lacrosse Playground and Princeton defender Jonathan Meyers, obviously he’s a Tiger if you’re going to mash up Ricky Ross and Death Cab. We just fell in love with Meyers’ mash ups, be prepared for more.
- What the F are these?

- Lehigh just partnered with STX for gear. Lehigh is probably the only STX team that won’t make the NCAA tournament.
- Game play coverage of College Lacrosse 2010. Any Pittsburghers recognize who is doing the commentary?
