Find A Cure
People helping people is always a feel good story.
Leyla Morzan is a former D1 tennis player from Penn State. She is running to find a cure for blood cancers. Many of you are familiar with this battle thanks to the great work of the Headstrong Foundation and the success of their neon green products.
We are now asking the lacrosse community to help another organization, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s Team In Training of which Miss Morzan is participating. She will be running a marathon on October 17th in order to raise funds to find a cure.
Knowing that this challenge is huge, I need your help, but more importantly it is the brave children, mothers, fathers, loved ones that are fighting the beast of cancer that deserve to be recognized, and it is future generations that deserve not to face this. I run for all of them, and it is my deepest wish that you will run with me in this cause and consider donating to my goal of raising $4100. – Miss Morzan
Still no idea what this new infatuation with jogging long distances is, but people keeping signing up. So we wanted to be apart of it. In a non exercising way.
