Tournament Notes from Fusion Greys (tournament champion)

During his concert, Powell played a song which may have been called, “Oceans,” which was about people pressuring him to play lacrosse.

“At one point we had CP, MP, and LB on attack at the same time.  We tried to do the math… something like 10 AA awards between the three of them.”

In the the championship game, the score was tied heading into the 4th quarter. Powell had this to say, “Don’t start playing different because this is the championship game and we’re tied going into the 4th quarter.  Let’s play like we’ve playing all weekend.  Play the same way that got us here.  One guy isn’t going to win it for us.  Let’s get the ball moving around and get some goals.” Fusion ending up shutting out the opposition en route to a 10-6 win.

First time anyone has seen Mike on a lacrosse field since 2008?
