The rest of the 2011 haul from the top dog out of the UMLL.

Northstar took care of the top program in Minnesota with gear and clothing Nike, STX, and Cascade. What a special selection. Take a look for yourself.

Those are quite sharp looking. Are they not? Despite the limited customization options, the Assaults are growing on us. Far more visually stunning than the K18s.

Duluth actually pioneered the white glove for the MCLA so we don’t get as up in arms over their affinity to go sugar color. Exhibit A. The year was 2007. The gloves were all white. Pioneers.

Hoping to schedule Duluth for 2012, if only so we can see their 2011 gear in person. If you’re looking for something awesome and a bit different, phone up Northstar. They’ll take care of you nicely. And even if they only do half as good a job as they did for Duluth, you might still look remarkable.

    Only issue I have is that the maroon’s don’t match. Gloves and pads are different than Jersey and Helmet.

    The helmet is the nicest thing I’ve ever seen.

    We’ll chalk it up as the lighting.

    Just got an email from Duluth. STX is sending a second set with a closer maroon color because they were having dye issues on their end. Not a bad email to receive.

    Yeah! It’s nice that STX is backing it. It is particularly hard to match colors when things are made from different companies and different factories. Part of the game. Nice work 412!!

    Northstar is doing work in the lax customization world.

    Is it alright to have your homes and aways be different uniform styles?

    or should you stick to the same uniform style?

    i.e. Six nations for home and away or long islands home and away.

    I dont know if I like two different styles for home and away

    Wait wait wait.. Duluth surprises everyone in the fall by ordering pro7s (with awesome decals) and then changes said decals in the spring? They even add two stickers in creative places above and below the back panel. Honestly, I liked the first ones better but I can definitely handle the new ones. I’d have to say Duluth is one of my favorite teams in MCLA D1 when it comes to gear. Good work Northstar!

    also interesting that UMD went with silver numbers on a white uniform. St. Thomas did it, and were scrutinized for it (check out the end of this article http://www.laxmagazine.com/blogs/coyne/051710_mcla_tourney_rewind_a_dynasty_dilemma ). As a fan of MN lacrosse, I love seeing everyones new gear, but come on guys! I would have liked to see maroon on white. Other than that, the gear is looking fresh!

    Messed up that Duluth chooses to use Northstar instead of Lavin which is owned by a Duluth Alumnus. Lavin does great work at good prices, and the owner was a captain on the Duluth team back in ’03. Support the Dulax family guys!
