Denver vs. Boston
Did you watch the Cannons take on the Outlaws last night?
The first half put me to sleep, but the second half was unbelievable. This game had it all. Rabil’s taking left handed jump shots from 39 yards away. Max Seibald’s blowing chances from 8 yards away. Kevin Unterstein had to cover the Big Pauly with a long stick after an injury. Lead changes in the fourth quarter. William Joseph Bitter pretending he was dodging against 8th graders. Current and former MCLA coaches all over the Denver sideline. Mitch Belisle using gloves from 2010. Mitch Belisle celebrating with his arm pads in an awkward position.
Maybe the on field product has gotten better. Maybe I’m more attached to teams/players because I’ve met/worked with more of the players. I’ve found this season to be far more enjoyable to watch than any MLL season prior. I like Boston to take the title this season because unlike Denver, their roster is loaded with guys who have won meaningful games.
If you missed the games remember you can watch the replays on ESPN3 assuming you have the proper cable package.
Pittsburgh is on fire right now, even though Plax is a Jet
A bride and groom climbed onto the Tumbler yesterday.
It’s wedding season kid.
In other celebratory news, this man turned 25 today.
I was in the building for that game.
Almost started crying when he scored.
