Anti USA Tweets

Several professional lacrosse players had heart attacks on twitter yesterday regarding the Duke-USA game.

First of all, its a scrimmage.

Second of all, its a scrimmage.

Third of all, its a scrimmage.

Point G, its a scrimmage.

Point 5, Duke is together every day at practice.

Great argument 99, Duke is an okay lacrosse squad and they will be playing Memorial Day weekend.

Item Z, USA is an MLL team, together once a week maybe.

#23523, several USA starters did not play in the 4th quarter.

#9235, the second half featured 20 minute quarters. Maybe if they were 15 mintues Mad Max Quinzani doesn’t score the go ahead goal.

P.S. It was a scrimmage.

P.S.S. You have to be joking with these tweets.

Stephen Berger decided he didn’t care for Coach Pressler’s eyewear but didn’t exactly out Coach Pressler which is another way of saying, “I hold a grudge over you for not selecting me to your roster.”

Max Davis is some guy that played at UMBC, is obviously in love with Kyle Harrison, and thinks cheering for Canada as an American is cool.

Evan Kay is some guy that played at UMBC and is obviously in love with Kyle Harrison.

Joe Walters was the most outspoken.

Two weeks ago he hated USA’s Warrior equipment now he is bashing anyone and everyone associated with the program.

What a pathetic loser.

Wonder how STX feels about this?

    some humble observations:
    Jwalters didn’t make the US team but he sure is trying to capitalize on being the “outsider/Bad boy” of American lacrosse and twitter! KHarrison has taken the “class above all else” route, and Walters has gone off the deep end. I chalk it up to the fact that he really cares about USA Lacrosse, our great country… and himself. I know it’s a different sport to some extent but after watching the Rochester/Titans NLL game online this week, I can see why he didn’t make the team. Is he a better player than I could ever dream of being? SURE IS, but that’s not the point! But he was nowhere near the top player on the floor and therefore couldn’t a lock to make the team.

    Team USA looked better than Duke. Like, MUCH better. They didn’t hit some shots (rabil in particular looked rusty/like he was struggling when shooting), and definitely missed some passes in close that they won’t miss down the line. The score line doesn’t impress me but the play did with the exception of Eric Martin’s around the world pass with a longstick on the break. Once Team USA comes together, it’s game on. Faceoffs went well in the second half. Fullerton looked suspect in the second half. Needs to step his game up like immediately or he should be replaced by Jarboe.
    Duke looked fast, tough and athletic. With Crotty, I can see them winning the NC finally. Graduate Greer and Danowski and THEN you win the NC… who’da thunk it?

    Didn’t expect anyone to take the route other than Harrison’s chosen path.

    Walters is definitely heartbroken he was not selected to the roster and
    likely feels like he would have made a difference in the outcome of the
    scrimmage but to openly state your allegiance to another country is very
    disappointing.

    Didn’t realize NLL games were available to watch online. Pretty smart.

    Is the MLL paying attention?

    Oh no! Some of your predictions are coming true!

    WAC has players suspended for hazing. Season wasn’t cancelled though. for a bunch of smart kids, lax guys sure can be stupid. Who knows what they did… who really cares? The point is that everyone knows the rules and the consequences now yet most continue to operate the same way as they did in the past. Ridiculous. Stop with the hazing people… if you need to haze, you’re probably not that good yourself. pretty simple: Grow up.

    Where did you learn of this?

    This might be the last out for Coach Clarke. I heard grumblings that his
    time was numbered and he has yet to improve their fortunes. Not sure a
    hazing incident helps either.

    doesn’t reveal much and I applaud the University for making sure it is able to make an informed decision before acting. There is often a rush to act even when the details are unknown. We’ll see how it plays out.
