About 412 Lax

The year was 2009. Summer months had ended and the leaves were beginning to turn. Campus life was still stagnant, but there was a certain smell in the air. Fall ball was right around the corner and 412lax.wordpress.com had a decision to make: stay the same or keep growing. Naturally, the choice was made to grow, thus began the creation of 412.LaxAllStars.com.

The flagship network blog of Lax All Stars, 412 Lax embodies the “Virtual Varsity” mentality of MCLA college lacrosse as we know it. The good, the bad, the bold, the brave. Stay tuned to 412 Lax for an inside look at the world of lacrosse from a former player and current coach’s perspective.

The Author

Name: Peter Tumbas

High School: The Mount Lebanon (PA)

College: The College of Wooster/University of Pittsburgh

Biggest lacrosse influence: Ryan Boyle’s play against Syracuse in the 2001 national championship game, made me want to be a male model. Also, if Mount Lebanon hadn’t gone to the Pennsylvania state final my freshman year of high school I probably never would have started playing.
