10. Sonoma State-Colin Ambler will have to pace the Cossacks if they hope to return to dominant form in California
9. Cal Poly- Freshman goalie Nick Czapla returns to lead one of the better defenses in the country, three freshmen finished in the top 4 in scoring all of which means a bright future for Coach Lea’s Mustangs
8. Boston College- Replacing Ryan O’Neil’s points will be key but netminder Rob Ventura is the best in the country
7. Duluth- It will be race to replace Mithun but Pitzl is a first team AA middie next year and the soft UMLL schedule will let them work through problems before Denver
6. Colorado-return 8 of 10 top scorers graduating (3rd and 9th), how they replace Moriarty will determine the success of their season
5. CSU- down in 2009 because of the influx of youth but they bring everyone back if the coaching situation isn’t a distraction look for this team to make a deep postseason run
4. BYU-coaching change pending makes me nervous but Mark Manning and Kent Mann might be the best attack duo in the nation next year
3. Chapman-watch for Andrew Clayton to replace Wooden’s production at attack but can they replace their older Clayton, Mills, and Kho/Kirkpatrick?
2. Simon Fraser- contingent on no body going to the NLL, if their top 7 come back that means 347 points come back or 49 per player which is horrifyinh
1. Michigan-until Chapman hangs on to a 2nd half lead. Key losses in the midfield but Yealy is only getting better
(In depth report on Michigan’s chances of a 3peat coming soon)
